"If you like beans, they have beans! As soon as we sat down the waitress promptly greeted us with four cups of yummy bean soup. It was pretty tasty and we got an other cup with our meal. Are you thirsty? They have you covered! Your water, tea or soft drinks comes out in a good size mini pitcher just for you. You don’t have to share it, you drink out of it. Everyone gets their own. We all ordered the baked potato, smothered with chopped beef brisket, cheese, butter, and sour cream. It was pretty big. Most of us couldn’t finish ours and happily took it home to eat later. The turtle cheesecake is delicious. Perfect ending to a great meal. As you’re eating, you can look out at the fields and they have a few Longhorn cattle and a couple donkeys out there. It was a nice meal, great service and great atmosphere."

"Great barbecue restaurant at a great location. I got here right after they opened and they were not busy at all. And I was seated right away. I got the ribs and brisket combo and they were great. The brisket was flavorful and cooked perfectly. And the ribs were also very flavorful and cooked perfectly, and they also had a really flavorful and crunchy glaze on the outside which was great. Overall the service and food were great."

"The servers were very kind, and were very quick to deliver our food. It took maybe 5 minutes to get our food after ordering. The ribs were amazing, crisp outside and juicy inside, but the sliced brisket was a bit lacking, it was a bit dry and not too tender, though it had good flavor. The sides were all wonderful, especially the coleslaw, and their signature banana pudding was quite enjoyable."
